PRINCESS PARTY
Updated: May 3, 2023
We had a Princess theme party for my two-year-old and I make a cake for both the actual day and the party so I made the Princess cake and the castle cake below.
The Castle cake was actually quite easy to make, i used the two round cake tins, different sizes and froze them in advance. I do this with all the cakes now to save time and make it easier to ice. I used two different sized ice cream cones for the top of the castle as you'll see in the middle one i used a smaller one to prop the top up. I used skewers to keep them up, dipped the cones in icing then sprinkles, piping around the cake and premade flowers to decorate.

The Princess cake was made up of a few fails I managed to cover up enough. I used a mermaid Barbie doll and the classic Dolly Varden tin which I managed to pick up second hand. The flowers were purchased from Coles Supermarket and i piped the flowers and put the sprinkles at the top. Definitely no 10/10 cake but it was fun to do.

Dessert table I tried to make a pink theme for the food and it was surprisinglyeasy to find the snacks pictured last minute.
