LEGO PARTY

I recently had my son's 4th Birthday in which we did a Lego theme. Keeping in mind we were trying to keep costs down as much as possible, I came across some really cool ideas that weren’t costly. Photos were taking just for myself so not the best at showcasing but hope it helps! We actually had to cancel the party due to a sickness but i set up most of it as shown for my son anyway.
Decorations - I purchased at different stores such as Spotlight, Kmart and online for the Brick design decorations and some handmade.
I went to Officeworks and purchased some coloured cardboard to make Lego brick decorations to hang on the walls (Didn't get many photos of them), each piece made three blocks and the circles. I used a cup to draw around for the circles and used sticky tape to attach the circles to the blocks.
Cakes - For the cakes I made the two-tier cake which was a combination of a few ideas I saw online. I always make a cake for the actual birthday then another for the party, so the other cake was the number four cake. It was a complete last-minute cake and my original idea was a flop so had to think on the spot, The Lego bricks i tried to make from fondant but my mixture fails so i melted white chocolate and added the coloured die. If you do this, look up how to as there was a process for it.
Dessert table - Loved this idea of drawing on the facial expressions to the cups. Great way for people to remember which cup was theirs too! All the block decorations below were from online stores and may be available in local stores as i did find some at a local cheap shop. The big Lego head is the storage tub from LEGO, another option i was going to do is put the cake there instead.
